J keeps laughing when I exclaim how clean the air seems! this is of course in comparison with hong kong: here, you can still see quite far before the haze is apparent. and it never ceases to amaze me how spectacular every single sunset is in bangkok–take any of the chao phraya boats around 18.30 and you’re guaranteed postcard-worthy photos of shiny golden wats. beautiful.
