not impressed. apple’s latest software update for the iPhone disables devices that have been unlocked by their users. meaning that iPhone owners are forced to keep a contract with at&t in order to use their phone.
not that I was intending to buy an iPhone anyway, but this is not cool. I wonder what apple intends to do about phones that will be sold in HK, which are typically sold unlocked (capitalism, long live) 😛
