I went to the musée des beaux arts after work today and the italian design exhibit was blah. but it was worth seeing the jean-paul riopelle and paul-émile borduas (omg, he has his own canadian heritage moment!) pieces in the basement. and whoever designed the building for the museum is a genius–some cozy nook-&-cranny-like rooms (like the one at the end of the african art exhibit on the third floor), and I didn’t notice I was going underground because of the clever use of windows and natural light.
but anyway, all this to say: here is my own little art gallery present for you. hope you like it.
