dam!

the three gorges dam reached its final height today.

it’s interesting to see pictures of the dam (bbc) because when I saw it up close it was not in the full light of day. no, it was about 3 am in the morning (more on that later) and a bit of delirium through lack of sleep…

about

I’m a Chinese Canadian currently living in Montreal. This blog chronicles my past lives in Nairobi, Oslo, Hanoi, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Taipei. While I try my best to write about the trials and tribulations of living wherever it is I am, I admit to disproportionately taking photos of food. Which of course is a common affliction among second-generation Chinese (in addition to piano playing, academic overachievements, and alcohol intolerance), but has somehow caught on around the world.

This site was originally coded in PHP/MySQL using a text editor, but I switched over to WordPress back in 2009. Currently using the Virtue Premium theme.
