My son has always been into music. Well, rock music, specifically. It started with us listening to Queen when he was a toddler:
As he got older, we encouraged him to read (and spell) by showing him how to type song names into Spotify. From then on, via the magic of AI algorithms, and he started branching out and discovering different bands himself.
Cute right? Except that listening to Aerosmith on repeat is enough to drive anyone crazy. But given that “they grow up so fast” (as Google likes to remind me with its creepy algorithmic photo albums), and I don’t record as many videos nowadays, I thought I’d do something simple and start diarizing what he’s been listening to. Easy enough to track in this age of Spotify!
