I started this blog just before leaving engineering for law school, as an alibi for staying techy. but now I write mainly about food I like, while posting photos of my explorations in the city.
Just to explain the chronology of where I’ve been living:
- Montreal: 2005-2008 (for law school)
- Hong Kong: winter/spring 2007
- Bangkok: summer 2007, summer 2008
- Hanoi: Sept 08 – Apr 09
- New York: Apr 09 – May 10
- Oslo: present

This site was originally coded in PHP/MySQL using TextWrangler (text editor), cyberduck (ftp client), and GraphicConverter (photo editor). However, after four years of constant comment spamming I’ve finally switched over to WordPress (& the Atahualpa WP Theme).
